Closed until 28th February 2021
Due to the uncertainty of the current coronavirus pandemic, we have taken the decision to close our bed and breakfast until the 28th February 2021.
It has been one very long and tiring year and with the cases rising across the country, we do not want to put ourselves and our guests at greater risks. We would much rather see you once things have calmed down again, than not be able to see you at all. All the extra cleaning, precations, and covid-safe duties have taken them the toll this year.
We will be glad of the break! Until March, when we are planning of reopening again, have a safe Christmas and a great New Year, we will see you all again very soon!
Let’s hope for a better year in 2021.
B&B open for business
The UK Priminister, Boris Johnson, has said that bed and breakfast accommodation can reopen in the UK from the 4th July 2020 after being forced to close due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
We understand this is a tricky time for everyone, which is why we have done everything we can to help make your stay as comfortable and worry-free as possible.
Keeping our guests safe
One of the effects of the pandemic is that we have made certain changes to the usual ways in which we welcome our guests. We hope that these will help you to feel safe and comfortable so that you can enjoy every minute of your holiday.
In normal times, our cleaning regime ensures the highest standards, but we now have to carry out extra sanitising and disinfection procedures. To give us plenty of time for this, we have changed our departure time slightly to 09:30 instead of 10:00.
We are advised not to service your room while you are here, so would you bring down your dirty crockery etc. and leave it on the hall table. We will wash it and replace it on the table for you to collect. Please let us know if you need supplies topped up.
All bedding, duvets, blankets, pillows and cushions will be rotated for every changeover so that there will be a week for everything to be washed and aired ready for the next guests.
It would be greatly appreciated if you would strip the bed before you leave, and place linen plus towels etc., in the bags that we will provide for the purpose. There is no need to take off the mattress and pillow protectors. In addition, please tie up your rubbish bags, and weather permitting, would you open the windows. We are always available, whether by email, phone or text, or in person, to help you with any concerns that you might have during your stay.
Thank you for your co-operation.
We’re Good To Go
As well as giving you our word, we have also applied, and successfully obtained, the ‘We’re Good To Go Industry Standard’ from Visit England.
Acquiring the Industry Standard mark means that our business has followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, has a Risk Assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
